It was a bit crowded on a Tuesday night for our last visit, so we started at the bar and moved to the table when one opened up. Of this group, we’ve been to Cibo twice so far and I can’t wait to go again. And I’m sure there’s more I’m even forgetting. If there is anything else you would like to know, please contact us on (03) 9508 4409 and we are happy to answer any questions you have.In the last few months (year, maybe? I am bad at judging time), it seems that my stretch of SE Division street has just exploded with new places - Ava Gene’s, Xico, Lauretta Jean’s, Sunshine Tavern, Cibo. A number of our Store and Assistant Managers started out as Team Members. These skills will not only benefit them at work, but will also give them skills for life.įrom here, the prospects are endless. As a team member, they will cross-train within the store so that they continually learn new skills. However, the longer they stay the more they realise there are some great career opportunities on offer. Many of our team initially join us with the view that this is “just a job to make some extra cash”. What about training and future career prospects? It is important to us that you understand our total commitment to your son or daughter’s safety and wellbeing whilst at work. We also provide training to ensure your child is safe at work at all times. We support fair pay, safe working conditions and Equal Employment Opportunities at CIBO. Hours for our school age employees are managed so that they don’t clash with their school timetable.Īt CIBO we promote an inclusive and supportive working environment, and one where everyone is encouraged to look out for each other. We’re flexible around working hours so we can accommodate time off for exams, extracurricular school activities, sports and other events. Will working for CIBO affect their studies?Īt CIBO school comes first. As a parent, you’ll want to know what this will mean for your son or daughter and how it will fit in with their school and sport or social activities. So your son or daughter has decided they want to join our CIBO team to get some real life skills, earn extra money, meet new people and most importantly learn how to make a great coffee. We will answer everything we can for you, as you are also interviewing us to see if this is the right place for you. This is the time for you to ask anything you might want to know about the job, the store or our company. So smile and answer the answer confidently and you will be fine. Instead of wanting to know your favourite band or movie, we want to know about your previous work experience and extracurricular activities. Interviews don’t have to be scary, just pretend you are meeting a new friend. Smile – It’s just like meeting a new friend Try and arrive 5 minutes early and if you are running late – give the person a quick call and let them know. Research where you need to go for your interview and how long it will take to get there. This will show us that you have taken the time and effort for your interview. Make sure that your appearance is neat and tidy and your clothes are clean and ironed. As they say practise makes perfect!ĭress smart casual for your interview (no suit needed). Practise some basic interview questions with a friend or family member. Do some research on our company: when did we start? What products do we sell? What is your favourite item? By researching CIBO you will learn more about us and what we do and it will help you answer questions about the brand and give you extra confidence going in.
